Assessment and Certification

How the final mark is made up, how the final project is defended and on what terms the certificate is awarded.

Assessment is designed so that the certificate attests to the ability to run a client, not to a memory for definitions. That is why more than half the weight sits with practical work inside the accounting software and with the end-to-end cases.

How the mark is made up

Component Weight Format
Module tests 30% Online, 20 questions per module
Practical assignments in Holded 30% Marked by a tutor
Final case for the autónomo stage 15% Every return for the year
Final project: company and AI agent 25% Defended in a webinar

Terms for the certificate

The certificate is awarded on two conditions: at least 80% across the tests and a successfully defended final project. Practical assignments in Holded are marked by a tutor, and what matters there is not only the result but the route the student took to reach it.

The final project

The final project takes the last week of the course and brings both halves of the programme together. Students work through a client’s annual cycle in Holded — from source documents to the annual accounts — and bring an AI agent into that work: the agent prepares reconciliations and drafts, and at the defence the student shows exactly what they checked and on what grounds they accepted or rejected each suggestion.

What students can do by the end

  • Register a client as an autónomo and select the right tax regime for them.
  • Keep the books and file every quarterly and annual return for both an autónomo and a limited company.
  • Incorporate a limited company and take it through to filing annual accounts at the Commercial Registry.
  • Calculate self-employed contributions, employee payroll and director’s remuneration.
  • Use Holded to the standard required to service a real client base.
  • Delegate routine work to an AI assistant and check it before anything is filed.
  • Respond to information requests from the tax agency and navigate deadlines, penalties and appeals.
